Size is good. The shape of the fairy is as expected and lovely.
Diamond bound to be small given the price but it DOESN'T TWINKLE it looks as though the circle of the diamond is meerly a circle stamped into the silver not that it's a diamond.
One reason I bought this instead of another brand was for the lovely looking presentation box, but read on...
The casing of the box is of very good quality but the inside 'satin' board holding the diamond is RUBBISH. It looks dirty with what seems to be glue marks on it and the edges seem to have been cut in a rough thoughtless way which degrades the potential quality of the product that it is meant to be showing off! The board tapers in for some reason on both sides. Both sides sit at different distances from the side of the box and as mentioned the edges of the board are finished poorly to give a rippled effect just like a toddler cuts paper!The fairy also slips off the satin board so once you have closed the lid and then open again to see how it would look to the recipient, the fairy has disappeared off the board. You can only see millimetres of the part of the chain which is secured by being pushed into slits in the board.
I was looking to buy another of these before I received this order today, but the presentation brings the overall effect of the gift down so much I will have to see how I can improve this one's appearance myself first!
I can not give it as a gift as it is currently presented.
